Advanced Technology for Efficient Drying

We use the latest technology to ensure these strict drying standards are efficiently met. Our inspection and drying equipment includes powerful (16” Hg) extractors, water claws, Low Grain Refrigerant (LGR) commercial dehumidifiers, air movers, infra-red camera/video, moisture meters, ozone generators, foggers, hygrometers and infrared meters for measuring inside walls, ceilings and floors.

Quick and Effective Response

Time is of the essence when dealing with floods. Prolonged moisture will become Category 3 (black water) over time, escalating the damage and increasing overall costs. Also relative humidity over 60% will cause unaffected hygroscopic materials to absorb moisture and cause secondary damage. We understand the urgency and are equipped to dry most flooded homes to the S-500 standard without the need for extensive construction or carpet adjustments.

It’s crucial to understand that wet carpets and walls might not always be visibly damp. Such situations can be even more hazardous as they remain undetected, allowing mould to grow beneath the surface.

Transparent Process

We document initial water migration and drying progress as required. Our documentation process includes detailed notes, measurements, infrared images, and videos, ensuring you’re always in the loop. We welcome visits from managers, owners, and loss adjusters at any stage of the restoration process.

FAQs

Flood Restoration

View results

What should we do first?

Give us a phone call so we can come and inspect as soon as possible. We will let you know the approximate cost so you can decide if you need to start a claim.

Should I call our insurance?

It is often easier to wait for our testing and inspection. If it looks like the job can be done for less than your excess, there is no need to spend time trying to start a claim that you don’t need to open.

What happens if we leave it to dry itself?

This is a very bad idea. Hidden moisture can take days or even weeks to dry. This will allow mould and harmful bacteria to grow. It will affect your insurance cover as delayed drying adds to the overall cost.

Are you qualified?

Yes, we are qualified to do all insurance work in NZ. This includes AA, AMI, Tower, Cove, Vero, FMG and all other insurers.
